“Word! Fuck that nigga. We out here!” April cheered even though she knew they shouldn’t be out anywhere. She knew good and damn well that Yayo had to clap back for getting cut. She was willing, though, because if something happened to Dyme, she would inherit her clothing.

“We out here!” Dyme repeated, even though she knew she shouldn’t be. She wouldn’t run into Dolla again if she didn’t, so yeah, “We out here.”

The rest of the G.M.G.s piled into the small apartment and blazed up the few dime bags they scrounged up. It usually took two or three of them to chip in on a ten-dollar bag of weed.

“What you over there smiling about?” April fussed when she saw that faraway gaze and a slight smile on Dyme’s face. She didn’t like seeing anyone around her too happy. After all, misery loves company, and she wanted everyone to be miserable with her.

“Oh, nothing,” she sang and tried to wipe the smirk from her face. It was hard because Dolla’s words kept playing in her mind. “Keep ya legs closed.”

“Yo, let’s hit this spot while we can still get in free!” Chattie said since they couldn’t afford to pay the cover. Plus, she had temporarily tamed her pussy and wanted to bag a man before it crunk up again.

“Yeah, we need to get up in that piece!” April said and led the charge out the front door.
